Guiting Power and Kineton Mulled Wine and Mince Pie Walk
PLEASE NOTE SLIGHTLY LATER START TIME.
Meet at 10.30am for mulled wine, hot apple cinnamon punch, warm mince pies and brandy butter. Meet in the Guiting Power village hall car park (near the church), park in the car park or nearby lanes if it's full.
We'll start the walk itself at 11am (ish) and take in Guiting Woods, Kineton (potential for a quick coffee stop at the appropriately named Half Way House in Kineton) and the surrounding area. Warm up in either of the Guiting Power pubs at the end of the walk. Bring packed lunch. Some parts may be muddy so please wear suitable footwear.
Cranham Christmas Walk
Meet 9.45am for 10am start in rear car park of the Royal William pub, Cheltenham Road, Cranham, Painswick GL6 6TT.
A walk to help walk off the Christmas pudding, about 8 miles around Cranham and the surrounding area where drinks will be available not just at the end but we will also stop at different pubs for coffee and for snacks / lunch. The Royal William will be serving meals at the end.
The trail is likely to be be very muddy in the odd place.
For anyone wanting to come by bus, the 61 bus which runs between Cheltenham Promenade and Stroud stops outside the Royal William.
For those coming by car, please park at the back of the car park behind the pub. The landlord specifically asks that people do not park in the car park opposite the pub to avoid people thinking the pub is full.

Withington Foxcote Shipton - new members walk
Meet 9.45am for 10am start in the car park of the Mill Inn, Withington.
Three attractive Cotswold villages are visited on this circular walk that starts by climbing up and then following a Cotswold ridge between Withington and Foxcote with some great views in both directions. We'll walk through the small village of Foxcote that lies close to the source of the River Coln and then Shipton Oliffe before heading back to Withington for a well deserved drink at the historical pub of The Mill Inn. Please bring packed lunch or can eat at the pub after the walk.
This walk is particularly suitable for potential new members.
Whiteshill 'Star two ways' - new members walk
Meet 9.45am for 10am start outside the Star Inn, Whiteshill.
This figure-of-eight walk from the Star Inn at Whiteshill returns to the pub half way around for those preferring a shorter option. The first half goes through Sandish Woods and Randwick with National Trust woods, great views and mostly gentle gradients. The second half is to Scottsquar Hill and Pitchcombe woods with great views.
Please bring a packed lunch in you intend doing the whole walk. There will be an opportunity for a drink in the pub at the end.
Winchcombe and Sudeley Walk, Pub Lunch and Walk Planning
Meet 9.45am for 10am start at the Abbey Terrace car park, Winchcombe.
We will follow the Wardens' Way via Sudeley Castle, Sudeley Lodge and Parks Farm, then along the Saltway returning to Winchcombe via the Windrush Way past Spoonley Farm.
After the walk there is the opportunity to enjoy a pub lunch in Winchcombe to celebrate the walk leader's birthday and we will also have an informal walk planning session to finalise the spring programme.
