Introduction

All our walks are led by volunteers who are Ramblers members. If you would like to offer a walk for our programme please contact the walks programme co-ordinator. Once we have agreed a date for your walk, you can then submit your walk for us to publish using the details below.

Cancelling a walk you are leading

The vast majority of walks go ahead as planned. However, occasionally the weather is so bad that we have to think about whether to cancel a walk to ensure everyone’s safety. These notes have been written to help you in that event.

Getting a walk on the website

Here's how you get your walk on the website.

  • First, you must be a member of Ramblers!
  • If you've not led a walk before, ask one of the walk planners to get you set up on the system.
  • When they've done that you'll get an email saying you've been set up as contributor.
